Biljana JAŠIĆ – RADOVANOVIC was born in Banja Luka. She graduated from piano in the class of Professor Anrea Preger at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and also from harpsichord at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Professor Miloš Petrović, in which class she has also mastered.
She has attended many master classes held by many pianists and pianist pedagogues, as well as master courses in the harpsichord held by prof. Olivera Đurđević in Belgrade and Lawrence Kamings (harpsichord and Professor at the Royal Music Academy in London) in Varaždin.
She has participated in the Platform for Old Music in Geneva, which was organized by the Association of European Music Academies and Conservatory.
She has had a number of concerts and performed as a soloist (piano, harpsichord) and chamber musician in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Italy, France, etc., as well at the art festivals „Marble and Sounds“ (Serbia), „Days of the V. Milosevic“ and “Sarajevo Winter” (Bosnia and Herzegovina), “FIMU (France)”, „Nei Suoni dei Luoghi“ (Italy), „Convivium Musicum“ (Serbia), etc. She is the founder of the „Banja Luka Baroque Ensemble“ and „Banjaluka Trio“.
She actively promotes baroque and chamber music, through concerts and seminars. She participated in the recording of three CDs dedicated to the music of Vlada S. Milosevic, an eminent Bosnian composer, as well as music shows by Radio Television of Republika Srpska „Listen“ and a show called „Klasika“. She participated in the international project ClimateKey, within which she premiered the composition of British composer Lola Perin „Significantus“.
The rich pedagogical experience resulted in a series of republic and international student awards and a large number of concerts in the country and abroad. Particularly important are student performances at many festivals such as „Dani V. Milosevic in Banja Luka, A-fest in Novi Sad, Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival, Spring Festival of Chamber Music in Belgrade, „Armonie in Corte“ in Udine (Italy) and „Nei Suoni dei Luoghi“ in Italy. She held a series of seminars in the music schools of the Republic of Srpska called „Meetings With Young Musicians“, Music workshops – piano, piano duo and chamber ensembles in music schools throughout the Republic of Srpska, within the project of the Association of European Music Academies and Conservatory. She has been guest lecturer at the Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław (Poland), Stanislaw Moniuszko, Gdansk (Poland), the National Music University in Bucharest (Romania), the State Conservatory of Music „Giuseppe Tartini“ in Trieste, Italy, as well as at the Academy of Music in East Sarajevo, from 2011 to 2015, she was a Vice Dean for Art and International Cooperation at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka. She is a full-time Professor at the Department of Chamber Music at the Academy of Arts University of Banja Luka.
