A pianist from Belgrade, she completed her bachelor's and master's studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Prof. Mirjana Šuica Babić, and her doctoral studies at the same academy in the class of Prof. Marija Đukić.
She studied with renowned piano pedagogues: Lazar Berman, Jan Novotny, Avo Kouyoumdjian, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and in America as part of the Fulbright program (Prof. Arthur Greene and Prof. Martin Canin).
She has won numerous awards at domestic and international competitions, as well as important artistic awards, including the Emil Hayek Award for the most promising pianist and the October Award of the City of Belgrade.
She has held a number of solo concerts and chamber performances, as well as guest appearances at several European festivals in Austria, Germany, Spain, Sweden, France, Turkey, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, as well as in many non-European countries; Israel, Kuwait, China, Japan and the USA including renowned concert halls such as the Kennedy Center - Washington, Symphony Space - New York, Martin Hall - Prague and St. Peter's Church. Sofia - Ohrid.
As a soloist, she has performed 15 times with all domestic symphony orchestras, with the Vidin Philharmonic Orchestra (Bulgaria) and the Montabaura Symphony Orchestra (Germany).
Organized by Eleanor Valkenburg (soprano), director of the ensemble "Poetica Musica", based in New York (USA), and with Svetlana Merman in piano duo, he actively performs as a chamber musician.
She has been employed since 1998 at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, currently as an associate professor at the Department of Piano.
She has given numerous lectures and seminars for students and young artists in the USA, Spain, Turkey, Israel, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, etc.
He is a regular member of numerous juries at national and international competitions. As part of her pedagogical achievements, her students actively give concerts and win numerous awards at national and international competitions. As part of the Erasmus project, she taught and performed at the Academy of Music in Vigo (Spain).
She has made permanent recordings for numerous radio and television companies.
In November 2018, she recorded and released a solo CD and DVD with works by Ramo, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Franco, Rosenblatt and Raičkovich.
She is the winner of the Silver Plaque of the University of Arts in Belgrade (November 2019).
