The international competition "SIRMIUM MUSIC FEST" is organized by the Association "Sirmium Gradus ad Parnassum" with the patronage of the City of Sremska Mitrovica and the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities, in cooperation with the music school "Petar Krančević" Sr. .Mitrovica was organized for the first time on March 16-19, 2017.

Prof. Margarita Vujović, MSc

  • Margarita Vujović, born in the city of Daugavpils in Latvia, is a representative of the Russian piano school. She finished elementary school, as well as the "Stanislav Broka" Music School, piano department, in the same city in the class of prof. Ajvar Brok and Rena Eduardovna Burbulj.

  • She continued her studies at the State Conservatory in Odessa, in the class of Prof. Vyacheslav Dashkovski. After graduating from the Conservatory, she obtained the title of Master of Arts, as well as four professional qualifications - concert performer, pedagogue, accompanist and chamber ensemble artist.

  • He has been living and working in Serbia since 1995. In the same year, she started working at the "Mihajlo Vukdragović" Music School in Šabac (until 2010) and the "Živorad Grbić" Music School in Valjevo (until 2008). In the 2004/2005 school year, she worked at the "IsidorBajić" Music School in Novi Sad, and since September 2003 she has been permanently employed at the "Petar Krančević" Music School in Sremska Mitrovica.

  • In the "Petar Krančević" Music School, she worked as a mentor in the piano department from 2003, and from 2006 to 2010. she was the head of the piano department. She held seminars and master classes for students of the piano department at the music schools "Petar Krančević" in Sremska Mitrovica, "Josip Slavenski" in Novi Sad, and "Stanislavs Broks" in the city of Daugavpils (Latvia).

  • As a piano accompanist, she successfully performed at numerous concerts, of which the collaboration with Anastasija Holz, soprano, and Vedran Kuštrak, double bassist from Zagreb/Croatia, stands out.

  • During her pedagogical work with students, she won over 400 prizes at piano competitions in the country and abroad (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Italy, Romania, Macedonia, Russia, Latvia, Croatia...), of which she is mostly laureates and first awards. Many of her students are prominent and well-known piano pedagogues and pianists throughout our country and the world.

  • For her exceptional contribution to the development of musical art and her pedagogical results, she was awarded numerous diplomas and awards:

  • She is a member of the jury at many republican and international piano competitions, namely: Festivals of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia, Republic Competitions in Belgrade, International Competition "Orpheus" in the city of Trg-Jiu in Romania, president of the jury at the Republic Competition in Belgrade in 2008. "Slavenski" Young Pianist Competition in Belgrade, "Smotra Pianists" in Lazarevac, "Davorin Jenko" International Competition in Belgrade, "Binički" Competition in Belgrade, organizer and jury member of the Pianism Festival in Sremska Mitrovica, and director of this festival in 2012. , president of the jury at the Competition of Young Pianists in Zrenjanin, Show of Musical Talents of Serbia in Sremski Karlovci, Competition "Viva la Musica" in the city of Daugavpils in Latvia, president of the jury at the competition of the pianist "Dinu Lipatti" in the city of Pitesti in Romania, Festival of Slavic music in Belgrade, XV Festival of Slavic music in Moscow / Russia, International competition "Vladimir Selivokhin" in Belgrade in the International Pianofest Competition in Bitola / Macedonia, the International Online Piano Competition Sergei Rachmaninoff BiH, the "Petar Konjović" International Competition in Belgrade and others.

  • She is the founder and director of the Pianism Festival in Sremska Mitrovica (2007-2012), the founder and director of the international Sirmium Music Fest in Sremska Mitrovica, the President of the Sirmium Gradus ad Parnassum Association.

  • Member of the piano committee of the Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia.

  • She is the winner of the award of the Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia for exceptional long-term results in pedagogy and the award of the Provincial Government for the top results achieved in the field of music.

  • Since 2013, by the Decision of the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Administration and National Community of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina of the Republic of Serbia, she has been appointed as a permanent court interpreter for the Russian language.

  • From 2022, She acquires the title of Senior Professional Associate at the piano department of P.Slobomir University in Bjeljina.
